Can I use my No Claims Bonus (NCB) twice?
No, a NCB can only be used on one vehicle at a time. However, an "introductory discount" if you are claim free, could be given.
What is the minimum age for drivers?
21.
Can I pay by instalments?
Yes, we would require a 35% deposit, then the remainder of the balance can be paid in either 6 or 8 instalments. Interest will be added to the overall balance, this is usually calculated at an additional 8%.
Does the policy entitle me to drive anybody else's car?
No, this is a specialist motor insurance.
Do you require any additional information?
Apart from the proposal form, we will need a copy of your Competition
Licence / Clubcard, a copy of your MSA Log book and pictures of the insured
vehicle. We should also draw your attention to the need to full disclosure
of all material facts (click

What use of the car am I covered for?
This is cover specifically in relation to your personal motorsport activities. Competition cars are covered while driving between stages also but actual "competitive" driving is excluded - as with all motor policies.
I have been a named driver on someone else's policy for a few years, does that mean that I am entitled to a No Claims Discount?
In order to gain NCB entitlement, the insurance policy needs to be in your name. However, providing you have been claim free as the named driver, we can offer introductory discounts.
My car has been modified. Do you need to know and will it affect the cost of cover?
Yes, we need to know about any modifications to the vehicle. This may affect the premium depending on the level of modifications. Make sure that all alterations to the vehicle are advised to us so that we can arrange that you are fully covered.
When does my cover start and can a policy be backdated?
The policy will usually become operative at the time that the first payment or deposit is paid. Cover can be started a few days in advance but under no circumstances can insurance cover be backdated.
If I have an accident and I do not wish to make a claim, do I still have to notify my Insurer?
It is always important to tell your insurer of any incident the insured vehicle is involved in, so that your file is always fully updated, even if no claim is to be made.
Do I need to provide evidence of my NCB?
Yes. If you decide to take out a policy with us, you'll need to provide evidence of your NCB, which must have been earned on a private car insurance policy.
Please note that we can ONLY accept original documents from UK insurers relating to a NCB which has been earned on a private car insurance policy.
What are uninsured losses?
Uninsured losses are costs for which you are responsible. Examples are, the policy excess, the cost of a hire car and any medical expenses you may incur.
Can you cover vehicles registered in Northern Ireland?
